Dr. Akanksha Bansal completed her MBBS from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana and DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Batra Hospital and Medical Research Centre, New Delhi. She has also completed her Fellowship in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery from Mahatma Gandhi medical college and hospital, Jaipur. 

She has worked as a Senior Resident Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Fortis Hospital Mohali, Fortis Hospital Jaipur, Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital, Jaipur and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Government Hospital Delhi. 

She has also worked as an Attending Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Max Hospital Mohali.

Dr. Bansal is trained in handling all gynaecological and laparoscopic procedures such as procedures like abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies, myomectomies, ovarian cystectomy, salpingectomy, management of ectopic pregnancy, cystocele and rectocele repair. She is also trained in high risk Obsterics, normal deliveries, LSCS, painful and complicated deliveries.
